Two pieces of white flannel hemmed with light green silk thread with a loop of the same at the top are sewn to the paper backing.

Rectangular box (part a) of lightweight, light coloured, unfinished wood. Inside the box, there is a rectangular green card, to which is fastened, with light red silk cord, a set of miniature figures made of plant fibre, clay, wood, metal and thread, and painted in polychrome. Figures include; clay farmhouse, maple tree, pine tree, temple, pagoda, torii, fence, bridge, two boats, lantern, two chickens, two cranes, crab, human figure on raft, human figure fishing, human figure walking, human figure carrying load, and donkey with burden. The lid (part b) is stored separately.

Rectangular brown cover with embroidery. The cover is made from two pieces of cloth sewn lengthwise. Embroidered on the front is a geometrical pattern with longitudinal vine and leaf motifs. There are borders on the ends with zigzag and floral motifs. The sides are finished with green blanket stitches, the ends are unfinished. The back is unlined.

Orange-brown cover with embroidered designs. The cover is made from three pieces sewn together lengthwise. Embroidered on the front geometric motifs forming an allover diamond pattern in red, orange, white, yellow and purple. There is a border with a chevron motif and yellow blanket stitch along the selvage side edges. The ends are unfinished.

Folding fan with thirty-eight inner ribs of split bamboo and two aluminum parent ribs. Covered with silver/white paper on both sides, one side having an irregular green stripe along lower edge of paper, with light green and white squares enclosing dots, and other side having the same along the upper edge of the edge of the paper. White plastic rivet through which is threaded a grey/green silk cord 18cm long (double), knotted, on which is threaded a green plastic bead.

Closing fan with twenty-eight inner ribs of split bamboo and two bamboo parent ribs. Covered with paper on both sides, one side white, the other white edges with silver, painted with orange butterfly over wave-like design in blue, light green and speckled silver and black. Threaded through rivet is a light green silk cord 8.5cm. long, (doubled) knotted, on which is strung an imitation pearl.

Irregular, white cotton textile with row of six profile llamas (some partial) with double-headed snakes above their backs. Red and black llamas alternate, each with chevron stripes of yellow, black, blue, and red. The patterning is in a supplementary weft weave. One finished edge is partially intact and has three heading cords in place. The other fabric edges are oxidized or cut.

Rectangle of red cotton with four complete selvedges. Birds in bifold rotational symmetry interlock with similar designs in a contrasting colour. The designs are worked in supplementary warp and weft. Floats of dark yellow, dark blue and white yarns. The red ground cloth is loosely woven and the selvedges show no sign of having been sewn to another fabric. Z-spun, two ply s.
