AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Bottle Type: Whiskey/Liquor Neck Finish: Lipping Tool Decoration: Embossed Comments: The sides of the bottle are embossed with "London England Gordon's Dry Gin" and the base is embossed with a dragon's head. A cut glass stopper is still lodged in the mouth. One clear glass gin bottle with french square base and finish similar to grooved ring except that there is no space between upper and lower ring and the lower ring is flared out at the bottom. Remnants wrapper remain on neck/finish, probably tin. Mold seams are difficult to see. Two vertical seams on both sides of the bottle up the body to the beginning of the wrapper, unable to determine if they extend up finish. Front and back are embossed with the same Maker's Mark: GORDON'S DRY GIN LONDON ENGLAND Dried substance present on inside and outside of bottle. J. Dougherty 03/22/2010

AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Date: 1906 Neck Finish: Lipping Tool One aqua glass liquor bottle with round bottom. Finish is similar to reinforced extract finish, though round rim is below finish, instead of at top. Also similar to straight brandy or wine finish, except that bottom ring is much larger and extends beyond the width of the rest of the finish area. Post bottom mold. Mold seams include: circular seam on base, two seams extending to approx. 0.5 inches below the collar. Maker's Mark embossed on bottom reads: A. B. Co. C 6 Bubbles present in glass. Dried substance present on inside and outside of bottle and slight abrasions on outside of bottle. Crazing present throughout body of bottle. J. Dougherty 02/22/2010

Base has push-up with embossed: B 9 Mold seams include: horizontal circular seam at shoulder, two vertical mold seams extending from shoulder to bottom of finish, horizontal circular seam at bottom of base. AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Neck Finish: Lipping Tool Manufacture method: post bottom Comments: The bottle has very heavy seams and is misshapen indicating an earlier date within its range. One brown glass beer/ale bottle with round base and crown finish. Cup mold seam at heel with two mold seams extending up both sides of bottle to approximately 1/2" of finish. Base features embossed Maker's Mark reading: S. C. Co. 10 Bubbles present in glass near seam molds. Dried substance inside and outside of bottle. One chip at heel. Abrasions near side mold seam. J.
