AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Vessel Form: Wine Cup Paste: Porcelain Pattern: Asian One white and blue stoneware cup fragment. Exterior is decorated with gridded flowers, connected by flow patterns. Base of cup has a geometric blue band. Rim is dipped blue. Approximately two thirds of cup present. Dried brown and orange substance on interior of cup, some brown on exterior. L Penttila 2/1/2010

AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Pattern: Asian Comments: Sake bottle.One white porcelain jar with blue transfer printed decoration around exterior. Decorations occur in three distinct bands; floral and geometric arches form a band at the base, a representational scene of a tiger forms the second band, and a different geometric/floral patterns occurs below the rim. Brown and red accretions on jar's exterior, which have caused staining on the base. Interior has a red-orange stain. 1.25" fragment broken away from rim. L. Penttila 2/22/2010

AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Vessel Form: Ginger Jar Paste: Earthenware, White Comments: 4 1/2 inches diameter at its midsection.One earthenware jar with green, black, orange and clear glazes. Body and neck have been glazed with black and green glazes, and the bottom has been dipped in an orange glaze. Formed by two pieces joined at widest part of jar body. Brown accretion below neck, near intact portion of rim, approximately 0.5" across. Neck of jar is broken, with the majority of the original rim not present. L. Penttila 2/22/2010

AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Vessel Form: Soy Sauce Pattern: Asian Maker's Mark: Asian Characters Comments: Mt. Fuji scene with Japanese characters and cherry blossoms.One small white porcelain dish, hand decorated on interior. Interior decoration includes brown spots, red characters and a gold line form (possibly a mountain). Asian characters on interior could indicate maker or use, but are probably decoration. Some rust or grime on exterior of dish. Two chips in dish's rim, accompanied by small cracks which do not seem to threaten integrity. One larger crack, also does not threaten integrity. L.
