The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Excurvate shaped with asymmetrical sides, and rounded corners and convex base. Brown color. B. Avery 11/25/2003.
Excurvate shaped with pointed-recessed base. One side of base broken off. Brown. B. Avery 11/24/2003.
A grey to cloudy white chert point. It has a relatively blunt tip, convex margins, moderately small corner-notches, and a slightly convex base. One face of the point has written, "Marion Co. Ind.," and "17." --they are in two different inks. There is no definitive record that says that this specimen belongs with the 1971-42 collection. Greengo's notes for this box (6D21, Box 9.0) list it as this accession, but offered no details concerning how he reached this conclusion. The 1971-42 accession files lists a large number of points--R.C. Dunnell "typed" a sample of them (Cat# 1971-42/1), all of which has the same numbered lettering as the above. In Dunnell's list, he has #17 containing only one specimen, which has been accounted for. This may belong to a different catalog number however. JLF 04/30/03
