Thick, biconvex, gray tip.
Black obsidian point with a contracting stem and parallel flaking. M. Christopher 10/16/1998. Dr. Dennis Jenkins, University of Oregon, sent this specimen to Northwest Research Obsidian Studies Laboratory, Corvalis, OR for analysis (on loan 11/30/98 - 4/9/99). A portion of this specimen was removed for obsidian hydration. The source of raw material was determined to be Cougar Mountain. Northwest Research Obsidian Lab placed a paper tag in the specimen bag with the following information: [Lab Contract #] BO-98-91 [Catalog #1989-57/35-M-] 46 [Collection Name] Bergen [Analysis] Specimen No: 15 [Source Location] Cougar Mountain See also the following report from Northwest Research Obsidian Studies Lab for more detailed analytical data: Skinner, Craig E. and Jennifer J. Purple pebble, unifacially flaked on around 50% of one surface.
Slightly concave/convex surfaces, rough flaking.

Arrowheads. Locality: Columbia River, near Ellsworth. Number of specimens: Ledger lists 15 (13) written in pencil. 3 stemmed points (2 broken), 3 leaf-shaped points, 4 point fragments, 1 obsidian drill fragment, 1 engraver(?). Ledger lists 13 or 15 objects, however, only 12 were located in Archaeology. *Information comes from original accession ledger.
Nearly round flat cobble, unifacial flaking around entire object. Opposite side has minor flaking (bifacial.)
