Double-barbed metal point (a) has a sinew-wrapped metal prod and is glued into a reed collar bound in sinew. A carved wooden insertion stub (part b) joins this collar to the hollow reed shaft which is bound at each end with sinew, and notched at the proximal end.
Knife (b) and sheath (a). The knife has a dark brown bone handle that fades to off-white where it joins the blade. The blade is sharpened on both sides and tapers to point. The sheath is laced together with sinew and has a loop at the top formed by a folded piece of leather.
Knife with hand made blade and hide sheath (part b). The knife blade is sharpened on both sides and has a carved bone and pewter handle that is drilled and riveted. Both the blade and handle are incised with an inscription. The sheath is laced with fibre.
Mottled wood shaft cut through and joined near the mid-point. Dowel visible at the join which is inserted into both sections of the shaft. Leaf-shaped spearhead hammered around the shaft and secured with a nail. Pointed metal butt flattened at the shaft end and hammered around the shaft. Band of iron coiled around shaft below point.

Iron point of butt similarly attached and secured with two coils of iron band. Shaft below spearhead decorated with flattened brass and incised geometric design.
Light woode shaft cut near the mid-point of the shaft and joined with a plug. Several notches cut in the shaft near the join. Spearhead has elongated black iron blade. Base of the blade hammered around the shaft. Butt end of the spear has flattened blade hammered to the shaft.
Lanceolate-shaped metal point, slightly ridged by sharpening, has a cylindrical length which fits into the wood shaft. Sinew is wrapped around one section of the shaft, at the metal, and the wood join.
Cylindrical handle carved from wood with thick metal needle embedded through the entire length, which can be seen projecting from the end opposite.
