The shaft widens towards the butt end, which tapers slightly at the end and inwards before it widens abruptly, the division between the two sections marked by three bands carved into the shaft. Spear head is flat and triangular with a long shaft that splits into three ridged strands that have been braided, then the strands reconnect to form the remainder of the shaft which ends in a larger cylindrical segment that fits over the top of the handle. The handle is cylindrical and tapers towards the end.
