Small, dark brown, rectangular wooden box (part a) with two insects painted in black and gold on the lid (part b).

Gold lacquered comb with mother of pearl flowers, ivory ornaments and "Noh" mask inlays on the handle.

A pair of books. The covers consist of an abstract design with flower, diamond, and leaf shapes on gold silk. The pages are blank, and open in an accordian style.

White silk folding hand fan with bamboo ribs and dangling orange tassels. Blue accents, a kabuki actor, and black Japanese characters are painted on one side of the fan.

Folding paper fan with red and green leaves on silver ground; pink string with a single green bead attached to the base of the handle.

Male and female dolls in bath (part b). Male has a white cloth on his head, which has a red stamp in the middle and blue lines on the edges. Female has black hair adorned with colourful flowers. There is a mirror on the top left corner of the back wall. All encased in glass (part c) and wood (part a).

Battledore paddle. On one side is a female dressed in traditional costume in colours of red, green, orange, and gold. On other side is a painted scene of trees in front of a round orange-red sun.

Carp-shaped windsock, decorated in bright colours, mainly red, gold, pink and yellow. Eyes are of green and yellow appliqued paper. Mouth is wired and a fibre string hangs from the opening.

Female figure dressed in red, yellow, pink, purple, and blue costume with a floral pattern. Black hair with red and white adornments. Wearing a gold-papered hat. Her hands are folded across her chest with her left arm above her right arm which is extended slightly outward.

Two pairs of white dogs with polychrome details, each on a wood base. The first pair (part a) are identical with gold ears, gold tails, and a pink string collar. The second pair (part b) are smaller and one is sitting down looking up with a pink string collar while the other is on standing on all four legs with black spots.
