Groundstone tool; girdled, beginning approximately 3 cm from one end, and forming a girdled band approximately 4 cm wide. Note found with artifact: "Girdled stone. Found Jl. 3, 1965 by Dr. Raymond C.Scheider [UW Sch of Arch - added later]. 19811Greenwood Place N.* in what is probably fill at that address. Donated 7-7-65.
