Ground mammal bone tool with a point on one end; root-etched. M. Christopher 01/08/99
Maul is fractured such that one surface is nearly flat. Both ends are flat, battered, and pitted.
Carved stone mortar.* Cylindrical, with top part zoomorphically carved (owl?). Depression is in top of head. Back part of head has incised parallel lines (6/95). *Information is from the original accession ledger.
