Bone fragment is roughly square-shaped and ground to a point at one end. The interior surface may have been ground as well. The exterior surface has been painted with a clear substance and labelled "45KI53 6N17W 657" in black ink. Excavated by Johnston and Vance on 7/7/80 and identified as "worked bone" on 8/28/80. M. Bone looks like it has been ground on three edges to a point. One surface has been painted with a clear substance and labelled "45KI53 7N24W 637" written on it in black ink. Excavated by Stevens and Berry on 7/6/80 and identified as "worked bone" on 8/25/80. M. Herkelrath 11/25/03

Flat, very thin length of bone. Tapered and slightly curved to point. Upper edge of curve twice as thick as inner curve.Wedge shaped cross break at opposite end from point. Polished. B.Avery 11/05/2003.
Shaft of bone with one end diagonally ground. Other end has straight cross break. White color with brown speckling, and black dots in center of either ends, not holes. B.Avery 11/05/2005.
