One green glass beer bottle with round base and english ring. Deep lip or packer finish. Post bottom mold with mold seams extending up either side of bottle until top of shoulder. Makers Mark empressed on bottom: N & Co. 302 X From Nuttall & Company, a bottle maker in St. Helens, Lancashire, England. Dried substance present on outside of bottle. J. Dougherty 03/01/2010

AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Bottle Type: Beer Diagnostic Base Mark: Pontil Scar Neck Finish: Automatic Machine Decoration: Paper Comments: This bottle is morphologically similar to Chinese manufactured beer bottles. One olive green glass bottle with round base and finish similar to mineral finish, except less tapered and with no lip ridge. Lack of mold seams and horizontal lines indicative of turn in mold manufacture. There are a few Bubbles present in the glass. There is a circular chip just above base. Abrasions present on the outside of the bottle and dried substance present on inside of bottle. J. Dougherty 03/01/2010

Base has push-up with embossed: B 9 Mold seams include: horizontal circular seam at shoulder, two vertical mold seams extending from shoulder to bottom of finish, horizontal circular seam at bottom of base. Base features embossed Maker's Mark reading: S. C. Co. 10 Bubbles present in glass near seam molds. Dried substance inside and outside of bottle. One chip at heel. Abrasions near side mold seam. J. AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Date Range: 1901 to 1920 Neck Finish: Lipping Tool Decoration: Embossed Comments: Embossed with "viii" One clear glass medical bottle with bead finish. Base is similar to plain oval and monarch or erie oval bases with three curved sides and one straight side connected with rounded corners. Mold seams include: circular cup-bottom mold seam, two side mold seams extending up to within approximately 1" of the finish. Embossing on top of one side reads: "3viii". Maker's Mark on base reads: "M.B.W. CO". Made by Western Bottle Manufacturing Company in Chicago, IL. Dried sediment present on the inside of bottle. Iridescence and pen mark on the outside of bottle. There are a few bubbles present in the glass. J. Dougherty 03/19/2010
