Upper rim is beaded in black and in red. Exterior is beaded in red (1:2 ratio) with three beaded rows per slat and staggered to give a zigzag over the three slat rows.

Colour: tan.

Bottom to top - continuous horizontal diamond pattern in red on beaded bullrush ground; discrete beaded bullrush chevron patterns; red chevrons on bullrush ground; vertical red stripes on bullrush ground; base is beaded in bullrush. Colour: tan. There is a circular piece of cedar wrapped around the basket.

The design from bottom to top consists of large horizontally connected hexagonal shapes; discrete animal shapes; triangular forms around rim; all in red on bullrush background. Three hide ties. Parallel slat lid, base and body construction (bifurcated stitches) with reinforced stitches along edge. Basket has inner flange. Fully imbricated in grass and large parallel rows of zig-zags in red and dark cherry bark, with dark cherry bark arrows. Lid rim is imbricated in grass with red bark geometric designs. Top rim is beaded in grass and rest of lid is beaded in alternating rows of grass and red bark. Two rawhide ties at front and two hinges at rear.
