AMEC Analysis: Comments: This is a round container made of thin copper with gold enamel. It is 1 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 inch tall. The top is embossed with "100 Paper Fasteners - Counting House Flat Heads - No 2" and shows a picture of T-shaped fastener. Two metal fragments forming one container with brass plating. Lid impressed with: 100 COUNTING HOUSE PAPER FASTENERS FLAT HEADS No. 2 Object is bent from original shape, causing seams to rupture. Exterior surfaces are corroded and show loss of original brass plating. Interior surfaces have grey accretions. L. Penttila 3/1/2010
AMEC Analysis: Comments: This is a graphite stick 3 3/4 inches in length and 3/8 inches sin diameter. The Maker's Mark, PLANIA, was incised into the product. Very limited information was available regarding this company. It was bought be Siemens in 1953. One graphite cylinder. Maker's Mark: PLANIA ****** (repeated) This was probably made by the Plania company before their takeover by Siemens. Grey and orange discolorations on exterior. L. Penttila 4/1/2010
AMEC Analysis: (None- this was not in the original combined catalogue. LP) One aqua glass medical bottle with packer finish and blake base profile. No apparent mold seams, possibly shoulder-height mold (IMACS). Empressed Maker's Mark: (Side) KUTNOW'S POWDER (base) K's P Kutnow's Powder was a weight-loss "effervescent." AMEC Analysis: Part: Base Bottle Type: Soda/Mineral Water Dates: 1850-1920 Manufacture Method: Hand-made Post Bottom Comments: "485" is empressed on the base along with the Maker's Mark. One clear glass catsup bottle fragment. Seams extend to rim, indicating post-bottom manufacture. Faceting, shape and maker's mark are indicative of catsup bottles. Empressed Maker's Mark: BBGCo. 485 Dried substance on interior and exterior. Extant bottle is cracked. Large hole in side near base. L. Penttila 1/25/2010

Mold seams include: cup bottom circular seam with two side seams extending up through top of finish/lip and circular seam just below finish. Some irregularity on surface, similar look to whittle marks. Empressed Maker's Mark: JL & Co LTD G 705 Dried substance inside and outside of bottle. Iridescence inside of bottle. J.
