Carved dark patinated wood figure. Arched in a partial fetal position with the hands grasping the legs and pulling them in close to the body. Pointed base has three flattened sides stained yellow. Elongated head with incised lines for facial features and a round head covering at the top knob.
A double layer of padding in blue checkered cotton fabric is tied to a flat rectangular piece of wood with an incised pattern on the exposed surface. A short band of blue floral material is sewn on to the cover of the top pad. A cord is wrapped around the ends of the pad, hooked into notches in the board. The incised pattern is very faint, the cuts are very shallow; the pattern is rough, rectangular in in shape, without regularity.
Rectangular flat brown board with red pad, green and tan covering tied to it. Board is incised on the exposed side with a series of triangular notches around the edges and at centre. The pattern is a mirror image around the central point. Two notched decorations extend from the sides of this field. A thick stuffed pad covered with a floral patterned material is tied to the board with ends hooked into notches at the ends. A band of the same material is sewn to a green and tan covering and attached in a like manner.
Tall wooden drum. Smooth cylindrical wood; hollow; tapering from top to base. Light brown in colour; mottled brown hide stretched and tied with fibres to top, secured to pegs extending from side. A raised wide band near the base has six vertical bands of incised triangles; edges of band coloured black. Base flares from narrowest point, edges coloured black. Yellow chalk mark beneath base.
Large bowl with short, curved handle; the inside of the bowl is incised with design of a sea creature resembling a dogfish. The handle is carved as a bird, inlaid in four places with abalone. 'a9ka' and 'al' are incised into the lower part of the bowl
Curved piece of bone incised and carved with the figure of a sea creature, its head forming the top of the piece and the body most of the length. The lower end has the head and body of a human-like form. The creature has rounded bulging eyes and a large open mouth, six horizontal ridges across the top of its head, and four long scale-like features around its neck. The upper portion of the body has an incised grid-like pattern while the lower portion has a crescent-rib-shaped-like pattern. Horizontal ridges go along across the back. The human-like form has oval eyes with thick brows above, a flat triangular nose, and a thin closed mouth while the arms rest at either side.
Copper with sides that flare outwards slightly from the base and a top edge that has a rounded peak at the centre. A T-shaped ridge separates the top section from the bottom section and divides the bottom section in half. The top section is slightly convex and has a face incised on the upper portion by scraping away parts of a coating of dark paint (?). The eyes are delineated by two raised bumps.
Copper with a raised t-shape on the lower rectangular half. A simple human face is incised through a coating of dark paint (?) on the upper portion, which is slightly convex and has flaring side edges as well as a rounded top edge. Diagonal lines are incised on the lower portion and a border around the whole copper has been added in the same manner.
Dark brown wooden headdress carved in the shape of a bird. Furled, striated wings and triangular tail with grooves. Knob-like eyes. Carved beneath to accept head.
Cross pendant on a continuous chain without a clasp or an opening. The cross has four even arms and the top portion has triangular decoration with four holes and incised lines. The remainder of the cross is pierced by square openings and covered by 'x' incisions. Three arms have diamond-shaped tips with four incised circles divided by incised lines. The reverse side is plain with some minor incision marks.
