Long turquoise vest. The vest has a centre opening with frog closures and embroidered ties. The collar border has prunus and butterfly motifs on an orange ground, with blue trim. On the front and back are crane, chrysanthemum, wave and pearl motifs on a turquoise ground. The border around the edges has a prunus motif on a turquoise ground with blue trim. The front hem is white cotton, rounded upwards and covered with small orange tassels. The tassels are formed around cores of rolled cardboard. There are tin reflectors, green glass eyes and white fur on the front and back. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.
Three-dimensional male humanoid puppet: large head (part c) fits into gold painted body with skirt (part a), and a control rod (part d) with a long shaft passes through the body and fits into the neck of the figure's head. The body has jointed arms, each with a long controlling rod attached, and the figure's right arm (part b) has become detached. The figure has a dark pink face, a blunt nose; white eyes have dark red pupils. White protruding upper teeth with fang at each corner of mouth; black hairy moustache, painted beard. Headdress consists of black cap, blue-striped scarf around forehead, gold triangular sumping (ear ornament) behind ear and grey Garuda (mythical bird) above grey fringe of curls. Torso painted gold and covered with black velvet cloth. A black velvet apron is sewn to the waist with red glass beads in sun ray design and a band of woven gold thread and ribbon at waist. The figure is wearing a beige cotton with brown geometric batik design. Red and white carved bracelets at upper arms and wrists; hands upturned.
A saddlebag constructed from a long continuous length of off-white striped wool canvas, which is folded and seamed onto itself at each end to form a pair of bags of equal size (panniers). The fronts of both bags, as well as the “bridge” that separates the two bags, are decorated with large rectangular panels of very finely knotted pile weaving that is worked on the canvas. The piece is tightly woven and quite stiff. The design motifs on the pile woven sections is consisting of octagonal and other geometric forms with shades of red, and brown predominating. The outside edges of the saddle bag are bound with braided brown goat or camel hair and the opening of each bag is finished with dense loops of braided goat or camel hair. There are colourful tassels at the corners and on the back of one bag, a length of brown cotton twill tape is attached.
An onament made of an elaborately knotted pink cord with a bell and two tassels attached. Above the bell, there is a loop, below which, there is a lozenge-shaped flat knotted shape. Below the bell, there is a smaller looped pattern. The bell is spherical with a slit in the bottom half. The bell is silver-coloured with inlaid discs of blue, purple, blue-green, and yellow enamel each with a Chinese character, and with lines of dots of the same colours in between. The two tassels are attached below the second knotted design. They have multicoloured strands and are wrapped at the top with gold thread that has a pattern picked out of the tassels’ strands on the surface of each wrapped area.
A small flat bag made of dark blue silk damask with an overall pattern of lozenges and small circles. At the top, the blue silk is folded inside where it is sewn with an invisible seam to the white cotton lining. Main body of the bag is shaped like a vertical rectangle with triangular projections on both sides created by folding and holding the folds in place with a circular pink cylindrical cord. The cord ends at the front with elaborate knots, culminating in five loops. Fastened to the three centre loops, there are stuffed triangles, one each of pink, yellow, and light green silk. Attached to the lower edge of each triangle, there are three, four, and five tabs, respectively, of silk fabric in various colours. Each triangle is embroidered with floral motifs and each has pompoms on the side points. The tabs fastening the top point of the yellow and pink triangles to the cord are wrapped in strips of silver and gold paper, respectively.
A small flat bag made of light blue-green and burgundy silk damask embroidered on both sides. At the top, the light blue-green fabric is joined to a red silk lining with an invisible seam held flat by groups of very fine stitches. Main body of the bag is shaped like a vertical rectangle with triangular projections on both sides created by folding and holding the folds in place with a pink cylindrical cord. The lower edge and the triangular projections at the sides of the bag are made of the burgundy silk which has been appliquéd onto the other fabric. Many motifs are embroidered onto the bag, all of which are heavily outlined in bright gold couching, sometimes with double threads. Motifs include stylized waves and rocks on the burgundy part with a swastika on each side at the bottom centre. On the pale blue-green part, there is a stylized Chinese ? character on each side at the top, below which, there is a fungus-like shape on the back. On the front, there is a stylized Chinese ? character, below which, there are two fungus-like shapes. Below this, there are two Chinese ? characters and a fungus-like design coming out of a rainbow-patterned circular form. The pink cord is worked into an elaborate knot ending in four loops and two knotted ends at the front and is knotted forming double loops on the back.
A small round bag made of red silk damask lined with white cotton fabric. Top of the bag is closed with pleating threaded onto two red cords joined at the ends with elaborate red, and gold knots and four tassels, two at each end. Two tassels are light green and pink while the other two are dark blue and yellow. All tassels are wrapped with gold thread at the top. Each tassel thread ends in a tiny circle. The upper edge of the bag is folder under to join the white cotton lining with an invisible seam. There are embroidered designs, some with gold couching, on both surfaces of the bag. On one side, there are four Korean? characters in different colours, below which, there are floral images. Below them, at the centre, there are two birds facing each other on a rainbow pattern. The other side of the bag is embroidered with pink and yellow flowers on green stems.

At the top, the red silk is folded inside where it is sewn with an invisible seam to the white cotton lining. Main body of the bag is shaped like a vertical rectangle with triangular projections on both sides created by folding and holding the folds in place with a circular pink cylindrical cord. A yellow tab, pointed at both ends, extends around the bottom of the bag. The red part of the front is embroidered with flowers outlined with gold couching and two pheasant-like birds facing each other while the red panel on the back is embroidered with a fungus. The blue points at the front and the back are embroidered with butterflies with two Chinese ? characters on the front, one light green and one yellow. The cord ends at the front with elaborate knots in red, gold, purple, and light green, culminating in five tassels wrapped in gold at the top, one in each of those colours plus a red one.
Ornament made of elaborately knotted blue-green silk cord, with three large tassels attached at the end opposite the loop formed by the cord at the upper end of the ornament. Below the loop is elaborate knot with six loops protruding from the sides, below which is a silver ornament strung on the cord, with a coral bead at each end. Below the silver ornament is another elaborate knot, below which are suspended the three tassels, each wrapped at the top with fine silk thread of the same colour as the tassel. The silver ornament is urn-shaped, with a loop at each side from which hang silver butterflies each with two red and two blue enamel dots. There is a raised Chinese character on each side of the urn, on each side of which are panels inlaid with yellow, blue, and brown enamel. Above the urn are floral shapes formed of silver inlaid with coral beads.
Short lavender robe with a damask floral design of grapes and leaves. The robe is embellished with two bands of black silk bordering black cuffs, a thick band of black silk at the front opening, and black frog fasteners at the neck, front opening and side. There is a pocket on the inside, and there are slits at the bottom of the robe on either side.
