Dark blue ovoid earthenware tankard on flat base with pewter mount, cylindrical neck, curved pewter lid hinged to loop handle. Lid is etched with a scale pattern. Light blue scales with yellow centres form upper, lower bands on body; between is a yellow scroll floral band. "1662" on neck.
