White tunic that goes with trousers, shawl, and vest (Ca35 b-d) to form a suit. The tunic is white, opens on the sides and reaches mid-calf in length. The collar has a metal hook and clasp. There are two buttons beneath the collar on the front. The sleeves are long with three buttons on each cuff. There is a front pocket to one side with a button.

A black cotton jacket with a one piece body, a vertical slit in front, and sleeves attached. Machine sewn seams. Weft overlay designs in red, yellow, white, and green woven in bands around the hem, bodice, and the sides of the front opening, and in three short horizontal bands in a row down the centre back. Main design along the hem is consisting of red centred yellow diamond shapes outlined by black and bordered by white and red link-like shapes. Main design along the bodice is consisting of a horizontal band of a zig zag line that is red along the upper portion while white along the lower portion and bordered by two white and red chain link patterns on each side. Main design along the sides of the front opening is consisting of a zig zag band of interconnected diamond shapes in white and red blocks. Main design of the three short horizontal bands in a row down the centre back, starting from top to bottom, is consisting of: an elongated yellow, red, white, and green X-like shape bordered by one white and red chain link pattern on each side with a triple white vertical band at each end; a zig zag line with red triangles on one side while white triangles are on the other side, and bordered by one white and red chain link pattern on each side; an elongated green, yellow, red, and white X-like shape bordered by two white and red chain link patterns on each side with a triple red vertical band at each end. Yellow, red, white, and blue warp design bands at sleeve edges.

Tunic701/3

Man’s tailored white tunic with cuffed sleeves, centre opening, side slits and a mandarin collar. The tunic is made of an off-white rayon (acetate?) textile with a twill weave and a slightly shiny surface. There are five small plastic buttons evenly spaced along the inside of the collar with hand made button holes. The tunic opens in the centre front, held together by a metal clasp and seven white plastic buttons hidden by a placket. It is lightly fitted through the bodice but flares from the waist to hem. The right side of the centre front opening is widened by means of an extension, from the neckline to just below the waist. A tab and button inside at the waist secures the extension to the side seam. There are single-welt pockets on either side of the chest and in-seam pockets below the waist. There are small shoulder pads and the tunic is partially lined from the shoulders to hip.

Rod PuppetIb294 a-c

Three-dimensional male humanoid puppet: large head (part b) fits into body with vest and skirt (part a), and a control rod (part c) with a long shaft passes through the body and fits into the neck of the figure's head. The body has jointed arms, each with a long controlling rod attached. The figure has a gold painted torso and arms. Hands bent back at right angles, fingers slightly curved upwards. Face painted white, with narrow straight nose, slit-like eyes, with lowered lashes and narrow red mouth. Face cast in downwards gaze. Cap-like headdress and with elaborately carved gold jamang, topped by garuda (bird-shaped ornament); also with upper sumping and ngore. The figure is wearing a black velvet vest with a beaded star-shaped pattern on chest and a gold sequin at the centre. The beads are clear with a frosted finish, and green. Dark red velvet beaded apron with three star-shaped, clear sequins and metal beads in a T-shape at the centre. Light purple, orange, yellow and off-white batik skirt.
