Dark brown clay whistle in the shape of a parrot with a loop on the back for a cord to pass through--details are incised. The parrot's tail is the mouthpiece, with the exit hole being located at the back of the parrot's neck.

Necklace1590/100

A triple strand necklace of glass beads and beavers strung on a metal wire with a large star at the centre bottom. The beads are mixed clear, yellow, red and green. On two-thirds the beads have six beavers on each side of the star, alternating with beads. Maker's mark stamped on star.

Necklace consisting of 64 small glass beads (28 red, 36 white) and 15 oval silver beads (8 small and 7 large) strung on cotton thread. The upper glass beads are in groups of 4 (1 red, 2 white, 1 red) separated alternately by a large, then a small silver bead. This pattern is broken once where there are no glass beads between a large and a small silver bead. The lower glass beads are in groups of 5 (1 red, 3 white, 1 red), separated alternately by a large, then a small silver bead. Maker’s marks in two cartouches on large silver beads.

Necklace1590/99

Necklace of glass beads, silver beavers and silver Lorraine Cross. The beads are mostly white and off-white, with a blue or rust-red bead between every five. There are twenty-four small hollow beaver effigies with crosshatched tails, alternating with beads. Some beavers have holes which have been refilled with a different coloured metal. There are four larger solid beavers at the bottom of the necklace, two each side of the cross. The cross has cloverleaf terminals and the front is engraved with diverging curling lines and scroll-like patterns on the vertical stem. All beavers stamped with maker's mark. The base of the cross also stamped with maker's mark.

Necklace1590/98

A necklace of beads with seven beavers on each side of a cross. The cross hangs in the centre bottom, and is hung on a metal wire. The white and red beads alternate five white to one red on the upper two-thirds. On the remaining one-third it is three white beads to one red bead, with seven beavers next to the red bead on each side of an engraved gold Lorraine Cross. Each beaver is stamped with a maker's mark.

Necklace1590/96

Necklace with a large medallion strung with beads of glass and silver. The blue beads, silver bead and yellow black alternate. The medallion has a scalloped edge with half moon cutouts, two raised circles and a central round motif with four scenes. The scenes from the top include an animal, star, pipe, half moon, fire, sun, clouds and rain. There are five beavers hung from the bottom of the medallion. Maker's mark is stamped at bottom of medallion and 'HB' on each beaver.
