Body: The 4 large rim pieces are attached to pieces of open twined basket - very coarse about 2 stitches per inch - Probably made fromsplit cedar. Basketry remnants with lots of loose debris, possibly comprising multiple baskets. All grouped remnants were labeled #53 or #53/A. Loose debris was bagged, as was contents of small box with tag "Assoc. w/53" ( includes one piece with tag #52 ?). The rest includes twill and rim piece (described below) along with various fragments of fine and medium gauge weave. All are rehoused in two boxes, with multiple compartments, that fit in one drawer.
