Brown wood boomerang painted with a red finish. The bottom side is smooth and plain. The top side has narrow curvi-linear lines that follow the shape of the boomerang. Near the smaller end, there are three horizontal grooves.
Spear thrower painted red with arrow markings in yellow and bands of black bordered with white dots; hooked tip. Grass fibre and pitch secures the point to the rest of the thrower.
Shield is decorated on both sides with zoomorphic figures, mainly insects, carved into surface. One side has a handle the other is painted red.
Flat outer side has an alternating white and black vertical-diagonal-vertical stripe design. Other side has a handle and vertical grooves. Label (not with object 2005-02-28) says "Very old; found in a shed on a sheep station in W Australia".
The mask is all black with cowrie shells for eyes with a notched outline. Two grooves create a curvi-linear ridge across the eyebrows. The ears are small, and the head tapers upward to a flat top with a ridge down the middle of the forehead. The elongated nose has the head of a bird at the end which joins at the end of the face. Geometric designs of dots and curved lines are carved around the bottom portion of the mask.
A clay piece which flares upward and outward with a slightly smaller flared base. Has molded face in relief on each side. The red body is painted with white and black decoration. Each diamond-shaped face has deep circular eyes with a surrounding rim, a pointed nose, a compressed mouth, a pointed chin, and a feature similar to that of the eyes in the middle of the forehead. The top of each head is decorated with depressed circles. The flared base is painted with alternating white and black vertical lines.
Geometric designs composed of oblique bands are carved into one side only. Paddle shape, red. Hook section is secured by fibre string and pitch.
Hatchet-shaped woven fan with a red-finished handle. Handle has a small red bulbous shape at the bottom end with a knob. Fan has a small section of open work near the middle.
Two long flat rectangular wood pieces. Spiral designs in high relief on the front side of each only, mirror side-by-side to one another. Both painted red. One piece (part a) is slightly shorter and thinner, and flares at a diagonal angle upward to its left corner where it meets with the other piece (part b) which is slightly taller and wider, and flares at a diagonal angle upward to its right corner where it meets with the first piece.
Dark brown, carved wooden paddle with a long, leaf-shaped blade that tapers to a point. The handle has a knot and a head-like finial with red eyes.
