Dzunuk'wa mask. Shiny, black, humanoid mask with deeply recessed eye sockets, a hooked nose, heavy eyebrows, and protruding, pursed red lips. Lips, nostrils and eyes are red. Eye sockets and outlines of facial features are white.
Humanoid mask with small, deep set eyes, an articulated nose, heavy eyebrows and an open mouth. Small hole at centre of forehead. Facial features are marked with red and black paint. Green cord is tied through several holes at the back.
Humanoid mask with small circular eyes, an angular open mouth, large, protruding nose and prominent brow ridge. Facial features and linear designs are painted black and orange-red. Green cord is attached to several holes at the back of the mask.
Headdress in the form of a dog head with carved designs on the bridge of the nose and rectangular indents for shell inlay over the eyes. Painted black with red and white eyes, as well as red nostrils and lips.
Wooden, carved, transformation mask (in parts a-b - two sides no longer attached) with wolf on the outside and a thunderbird(?) on the inside. The face of the wolf has black edging with red nostrils and teeth. The eyes are black with white edging on a green ovoid-like shape background. One ear is attached to the top of the head and is decorated with an ovoid and split U shapes (part a). The inside of the mask is hollow with black painted thunderbird(?) with red detailing on a white background. The mask is painted black, red, green and white with stylized designs.
Carved wooden, crooked beak mask. The beak has long, exaggerated, protruding nostrils with two large u-shaped openings in the front; many incised white s-shaped forms behind it. Running from the brow is a large, protruding, central black and white circular frill that projects upwards and curves downwards to the middle of the beak. The mouth is red, flat, wide and protruding. The underside of the beak is black; hinged with rectangular pieces of rubber. The eyes are black ovoids on an ovoid shaped ground; the brow is black. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of pieces of fibre twine to articulate the beak. Attached to the top are many small cedar bundles with a piece of eagle down intertwined. The mask was painted black, red and white with Northwest Coast stylized forms but is mostly black due to being burnt by fire.
Xwixwi mask with white face, protruding cylindrical eyes, hooked nose with red nostrils and red recurved tongue. Painted green with a scalloped edge around eyes. Scalloped black border on top rim. Black and green scalloped border around top rim, black eyebrows and moustache with downturned ends. Cord attached at back of mask.
Killer whale mask or headdress with red lips and long straight fins in black and red, extending out to each side. Flat tail painted in black and red with face, is attached to wood and goes at the back of mask.
Large carved bear mask, with human-like eyes, nose and mouth. The face is mostly black with green nostril and ovoids that outline the black eyes; brow is black. The mouth has carved teeth; the mouth is painted black with green ovoids repeated along the upper lip. The ears are attached to the top of the head and are decorated with black U-forms. The inside of the mask is hollow. The mask is painted black and green with stylized designs.
Warrior dance knife, or baton in the form of Sisiutl. A long thin cylindrical-like shaped wood piece with a central frontal head and a profile head on either side. Cedar bark is tied around one side. Painted with long upward curving protruding red tongues at either side and four horizontal black rings around each neck.
