The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Brown, fragment of a tool. Test Trench 4, Square 7
Circular; white and red
Rod shaped, pecked, possible battering at one end.
Flat, brown, rounded cobble, Oval in shape. Both surfaces are pitted and scratched. Either end exhibits pitting as well, but the wear scars have been weathered (older use wear).
Battering on both the nipple top and flat base.
Brown multipurepose cobble, The smooth, nearly cylindrical form with a battered tapered end is a maul. The wider end is a bifacially flaked like a chopper. One surface is flat and smooth like an abrader.
Heavily pecked; could be a pestle/maul blank.
Rectangular in plan view, one surface (bowl's interior) is smooth and concave, exterior is convex and battered. Object appears to be the base (with opening) of the bowl. There is another artifact with this exact number. It is a hammerstone, and it is entered as W1/20/3462-B.
Object seems to be a bowl fragment; One flat rounded surface (base) is almost perpendicular to adjacent surface, which is rounded and convex. Opposite surface of object is concave and rounded. Abrasions on concave surface.
