Stone war club.* Triangular in cross section, tapered knob on one end. Probably a salmon packing pestle (6/95). *Information is from the original accession ledger.
Canoe chisel. Locality: Washougal, Washington.* Monolithic adze, with pestle-shaped handle and spatulate cutting edge in one piece. Found at Washougal, Clark County, Wa. *Information comes from original accession ledger.
Paint cup. Locality: Sauvie's Island. Remarks: Or an unfinished tubular pipe.* Small conical maul with battering on both ends. The bottom of the large end has a deep cup shaped depression pecked into it. Found at Sauvie's Island, Clark County, Wa. *Information comes from original accession ledger.
Flat stone paint cup.* One cm deep depression ground into one side, slight depression ground into other. Five knobs protrude from "body" -- two on one side, one on the remaining three sides. Slightly anthropomorphic/zoomorphic (6/95). *Information is from the original accession ledger.

Heavily pecked. Could be a pestle/maul blank. In the catalog book it is listed as O-1046b; but the artifact is labelled O-1046.
Small Stone Carving or Implement* Cylindrical with terminal groove, pecked ring and pecked circular pit. Some grinding on two sides. Basalt (6/95). *Information is from the original accession ledger.
Stone mortar.* River cobble with ground depression 3.5 cm deep on one side. Other side flattened. Is pecked with parallel lines running from rim of depression to base (6/95). *Information is from the original accession ledger.
Stone pestle.* Fide donor GTE: Stone pestle used in conjunction with the stone mortar in the preparation of food products. *Information is from the original accession ledger.
Stone mortar or paint dish.* Groundstone mortar returned from Grant County Public Utility District, Wanapum Dam Heritage Center on January 25, 1995. These materials were originally sent to Grant County PUD for future exchange (see Borrower's Agreement - 1966), but the exchange papers were never drawn up. Since this material was only loaned, not deaccessioned, the Grant County PUD returned it to the Burke. (L. Phillips, 1/26/95). Oval shape with a ground depression on toop 2.5cm deep. Object was falsely labeled as unassociated grave goods. There is no evidence to suggest that it originated from a burial. (M. Noble, 12/12/2002). *Information is from the original accession ledger.
