Grey rounded cobble, with round depression in one surface. Adhesive residue in depression probably related to location of original catalogue number, broken.

Broken end of stone war club from near Pontiac, King County, WA, on shores of Lake Washington.* Base of stone maul/pestle; pecked, edge-battered; diamond-cut cross-section sample removed from broken end of shaft (by unknown person possibly for analysis?). Diameter of base = 8.0cm, diameter of shaft = 5.0cm. LSP, 1/11/96. All location and accession information on this file is most likely incorrect due to a mislabel of the artifact. Red fragmented cobble, only .5 (possibly the lower .5) of cobble is present as well as only one side. One large polished groove is present.

Stone image head.* Weathered volcanic cobble (andesite?). Possibly a grooved maul or a net sinker. It has aa central pecked groove and battering on both ends. One end is pecked and this end has a central line pecked into it and two circular areas that were then drilled to resemble eyes (zoomorphic). Red pigment (ochre?) in pecked areas (6/95). *Information is from the original accession ledger.
