Hourglass shaped gourd; wider at base than top; spout-like opening at top; brown cord wrapped around middle; rich brown colour.

Full length female figure, possibly the goddess of mercy. Her robe is gathered around her as she clasps her hands in front of her. She is wearing an elaborate headdress. Her feet are bare.

Brown wooden mace with a stick-like body and a wide, circular head folded over at the top; mace is covered in intricate imagery carved in relief: cranes a in pine forest, pine trees and deer. Golden silk cord and tassels attached at the bottom.

Hand maul of stone with nipple-shaped top; handle flares into a circular head with flat face. Surface is polished.

Mask depicting red face with squinted eyes, large bulbous nose, dimples in chin, red lips and slightly open mouth showing two teeth; chin is made to look as though it is a separate piece that is attached with black rope at either side; carved lines across forehead and around cheeks. String attached to back of mask through two holes on sides. Cloth base built up with lacquer, which is later carved and polished.

Bracket base has vine decoration. Lid has geometric border and centre panel with temple and gate in a landscape.

Flat top hand maul of stone with handle flaring into a circular head with flat face. Smaller flat-faced head on handle end.

Circular band of brown wooden beads with three smaller orange glass beads and one large faceted clear; a braided brown cord with two pompoms is attached to the clear bead.

Three strand necklace; small spherical turquoise-coloured beads interspersed with larger beads of various shapes and materials, often carved with various designs or into various symbols.
