Light coloured brass representation of a scorpion. Tail is raised in the stinging position and claws are open. Form appears playful, with very fat, round body, disproportionately small claws, simplistic facial features of pressed circles of brass. Legs are joined to their pairs across back with raised brass ribbed design.

A string of beads with groups of small dark brown wooden beads divided at intervals by a twelve single brown beads of a larger size. Coral-coloured beads (four ceramic and one wooden) are interspersed. The division of beads shows no regular pattern. Ten little white glass-like beads are strung on as an appendage. One large brown wooden bead is at the knot.

A flat open-work brass piece with a punched design. The base of the piece is curved. From the base to the top, the sides curve inward, tapering to cloud shapes, and one central hole at the top. Central design consists of four Chinese script characters, flanked by four dragons, two on either side. The translation from the top down is red, heart, loyalty, and virtue.

Naturalistic brass representation of a deer in slender, delicate style. Small brass flat balls encased by 2 narrow strips of brass wire on each side to form entire open brass work surface on deer's back. Underside composed of crisscrossing brass wires forming open fretwork design. Legs and very thin antlers are solid. Face is humourously depicted with bulging eyes, deep nostrils and an open mouth.

Hard black material of interior core is distinctly visible through open circular fretwork on underside of belly and throat. 4 raised rosette designs, 1 on each flank. Coiled wire pattern on back. Low relief brass fringe embellishes upper foreface and neck.

One piece wand with pointed end of shaft that swells then flares abruptly to blunt end. From here, shaft continues to large paddle-shape whose squared tip has single flange around circumference and perforated hole through thickness. Museum label on end surface. Dark brown patina. Chipped on edges and at flare of shaft.

A metal ring with a round green turquoise stone set in a low-grade silver setting. The design of the setting includes small bosses around the bottom edge surrounding the turquoise setting and a cluster of slightly larger bosses at each side of the ring along the rope-like bands. The band is adjustable.
