Stone pestle probably war club.* NOTE: File on Hoquiam Chamber of Commerce loan states that this catalog number was loaned in 1930. This loan was never recovered and the objects can not be located. NOTE: determined to be lost while on loan. R.Andrews 9/15/1995. Object present in archaeology collection (1993 JJM). This is a salmon packing pestle. It was one object, broken into two pieces and previously glued. This object then broke again, and is now in two pieces. Pestle is polished on bottom and near top. It is flattened on the sides (6/95). *Information is from the original accession ledger.
