Red fragmented cobble, only .5 (possibly the lower .5) of cobble is present as well as only one side. One large polished groove is present.
Mammal bone, ground and polished to a point. Opposite end broken. Discolored due to preservation. K. Peterson 10-16-98
Surface Depth: 5.0-6.0 Long bones with shaped pointed ends.
Triangular/cone shaped bone with incised straitght lines approx. 3mm apart beginning at base and ending 2cm from tip, where a perpendicular line has been incised. A line parallel to this line has also been incised about 1cm from the tip of the triangular tool. The bone appears burned (white and black discoloration), and the sides of the bone have been broken, including the tip. The base appears polished. There is a crack through the middle of the bone parallel to the base.
Possibly a mortar (rubbing stone). Locality: Fisher, Washington.* Simple oval hand maul, battered on both ends. Found at Clark County, Wa. *Information comes from original accession ledger.
Adze. Locality: Washington, Whatcom Co.* Paper glued to one face with the following information in typed print: " SKINNING IMPLEMENT, Found near Brennan, Sec. 33, Tp 38 n, R 2 e, Oct. 15, 1920 by J.M. Edson." *Information comes from original accession ledger.
