Pale green-gray sanwa kōrai-yaki (三和高麗焼) porcelain bodied jar on single ring foot. Squat compressed spherical shape, lentoid in transverse cross-section, contracting to mouth, with rim turned slightly outward. Orange biscuit exposed around foot. Thick crackled and transparent grey-green glaze. Inlaid on upper surface are three sets of two cranes facing opposite directions, in black and white enclosed by white circle. Between circles are three small white irregular designs.
Pot-shaped stand upon which sits the figure of a man, on whose shoulders, there is a bird with outstretched wings. The stand has two raised wavy lines and raised concentric circles near the top. The man has an upturned face and no neck. The bird has sucker-like protrusions on its tail. The stand is several shades of brown with white highlights. The man's right side is brown while the other side is black. The bird is brown. Both the man and the bird have spots and lines.
A complete hide is used to form a long rectangular bag. The top of the neck is laced with a brown hide strip which hangs loose. The four legs are drawn together over the stomach and tied to form a carrying handle. The bag remains open at the posterior end.
Oblong basket made of birch bark--corners sewn with root or wood strips. Rim is wound with thin strips of root (?) and interlaced with fibre. A design has been scratched onto the sides, revealing a lighter shade of bark; exterior design is geometric with a linear triangle pattern covering all four sides.
Dark and light tan apron of animal hide. Smooth in the centre; the sides are covered with fur.
Wildebeest bone handle that widens slightly at the top and tapers to a point where black hair hangs down to form a whisk.
Surface of the nut has been scraped considerably. There is a round opening on one end. Shaped like a small elongated coconut.
Birch bark basket with a rectangular base that tapers towards an oval-shaped top--basket is capped with a flat, inset lid. Birch bark is folded and stitched with strips of root (?), with a split twig rim overcast with a wide stitch at the top edge. Floral designs have been scratched onto the sides and lid, revealing a lighter shade of bark beneath. A strip of rawhide is strung from one side to the other to create a handle.
