The body has jointed arms, each with a long controlling rod attached. The figure has a light red face, blunt nose, large red eyes, red lips, and a brown human hair moustache attached to face with four bent nails. Wrinkles are rendered in black, and the figure's black hair is tied back with a white band. Clothing: blue tutupan attached with two nails, and a red, green and yellow sarong.

Headdress: cap, red star on white with red and gold bands at rim. Gold band appears to have a layer of green paint under it. Body: distended belly, rope protruding from neck. Clothing: light blue tutupan with green and black striped sleeves, red under-tunic, dark blue, natural and light brown batik sarong. Hands attached with cord to control rods. Puppet held by rod running through body and head.

Brown container of a single piece of duiker or steinbok hide, sewn at base and up one side. Top folded over and edged with red beads. Red and yellow beads and fringe of leather thongs decorate one side of quiver. Leather carrying strap sewn on decorated side. Leather of quiver and strap discoloured in places.

Red-brown wooden container carved and hollowed (part a). Tapered cylindrical shape, narrower at base than at mouth. Fitted with lid (part b) made from animal hide which has been stitched and dried to assume the shape of the mouth. Round brown coloured nut (?) (part c) inside container.

Mask depicting Pandam Paliya ("the torch-bearing apparition") with a humanoid face that is squarish in shape. The mask has bulbous eyes and nose with a wide mouth stretching across whole face. Each feature (eyes, cheeks, forehead, and nose) is a separate piece of wood wired together. Cloth covered wire outlines the back of the eyes and the bottom of left cheek. Oval mouth of red stuffed fabric wired at intervals around lips. White plastic teeth, two large protruding fangs on top row. Under nose and around mouth is a beard of black wool strands. Nose and cheeks are flesh-toned. Protruding eyes are carved on circular backgrounds with red, yellow and black petal designs on the lids. The black pupils are outlined in red. The brown wool eyebrows are knotted, tied and wired to the eyes. A label on the reverse reads, "PANDAM PALIYA: The torch-bearing appartition" in typed letters, and also a circled "7" in pencil.

Mask depicting Salu Paliya ("the shawl-clad apparition"). The mask has a fringe of dark brown hair around the top of the head, a black wool beard , and a moustache made of black knit fabric. The facial plane is rubber with eye holes cut in the cheeks, just below the eyes, and is painted black. The eyes and nose are made of wood and are nailed to the rubber. The lips are made from red cloth and tied to the rubber. The lower jaw is moveable. The separate white plastic teeth are sewn into the lips. The prominent nose is curved and painted orange-pink with a yellow and red stripe across the tip. The nostrils are flared, and the crease between the nose and nostril is defined with a black line. The eyes are discs and crescent-shaped with red and yellow eyelids that have radiating black lines. Strips of rubber are tied around centre of each lip and also serve as ties.

Headdress composed of red cap with top knob, three-tiered gold crown with diadems in red, green and white, gold ear ornaments, Garuda Mungkur (mythical bird) mythical bird in white, light green, dark green and red. Ten black hair curls emerge from beneath crown. Green and red ornaments at wrists and upper arms. Long light brown and green batik skirt is gathered at waist. Arms jointed at shoulder and elbow. Arm control rods missing. Head movement controlled by removable rod, which extends from head to handle beneath skirt.

Headdress composed of red skull-cap, gold ear ornaments, green and yellow band across forehead with curl in centre front. White, blue zigzag design above lower ear ornament. Gold wrist bracer. Skirt made of purple, blue, and yellow checkered cloth gathered at waist; red plastic taped around midriff. Head movement controlled by wood rod, which extends from head to handle beneath skirt. Arms jointed at elbow and shoulder, movement controlled by thin wands attached to hands.

A three-dimensional male humanoid figure puppet. Has a large moveable head with a red, black, and gold shrimp's tongue Garuda diadem. The black hair is wavy with two curls below the ear with sumping. Has a red face and red eyes with black pupils. Has one fang and prominent white teeth. There is a stump nose, extended black sideburns, a moustache, and a beard. The moveable gold painted arms have red and green ornaments at the wrist and bicep with the hands flexed outward at the wrist. Wearing an upper garment of black and gold fabric with four red and blue sequins and a blue chest band. A patterned purple, tan, and black skirt with an apron has five sequins and beadwork. There is a mauve, white, yellow, and pink sash, pink brocade waistband.

Torso unpainted under shirt; upper arms made of twisted cloth rope, lower arms and simple outstretched hands of wood. Head movement controlled by removable rod extending though body to handle beneath skirt.
