Pair of boots made of brown and white caribou fur. The sole is made of dehaired seal skin and the boots are boat-like with vertical crimps. Between the sole and the upper section of the boots a narrow strip of red-brown depilated skin is sewn. The leg section consists of brown and white coloured vertical strips of caribou fur. In the front of the boots four horizontal pieces of decorative trim consisting of brown and white fur and red cloth, are inserted. Above this section of the boots there is a horizontal broad decorated band of brown and white caribou fur, red cloth and embroidery in blue thread. The top of each boot has a casing of brown caribou fur with a leather cord strung through it. To both sides of the foot a dehaired strip of skin is attached.
Slightly greenish-grey glazed spherical jarlet with wide mouth and two loop ears. The interior and exterior are glazed except for mid-body patches, base and underside. These exposed areas reveal a greyish white body. The base is shaved and there are chatter marks on the underside. A set of inked letter and numbers is written on the underside.

Between the sole and the vamp a red dyed narrow strip of dehaired skin is inserted all around. The leg section consists of white caribou fur with vertical brown caribou fur panels and narrow strips of white and brown caribou fur on either side of the leg. On top of this a horizontal strip of wolverine with two wolverine tassels in the front and in the back is sewn. Above this and intricately decorated broad band of shaved white and brown caribou fur in a geometric pattern, and tufts of red cloth are attached. The top of the boots have a blue cloth casing through which a plaited cord of wool is strung. On either side of the foot a long strip of dehaired skin is attached into the seam of the sole.
Demonstration backstrap loom (part a) with various attached and/or removable pieces (parts b-n). Part a: loom with front and back wooden loom bars with natural multi-ply cotton string warps attached; strings in dyed green and orange interwoven along inside edges of bars; dyed brown weft string interwoven for 13 rows of plain weave, the end of the weft yarn is attached to a pointed stick which is notched for attached yarn at other end. Dyed blue string attached to loom bars and interwoven to lengthwise selvedges. Part b: slightly curved heddle rod of shaved beige stick tied and wrapped by warp from weaving. Part c: separate shaved beige lease stick or bobbin with angled ends and longitudinal splits. Part d: slightly curved shed stick loosely resting in warp. Part e: separate wooden stick loom bar with knotted end. Part f: lease stick with numerous pin point holes, a rounded end, split 4.5 cm. in from end, other end is burnt and beveled. Part g: bamboo lease stick or heddle rod. Part h: separate wooden batten sword with pointed, triangular ends, rounded along one length, tapering to other side. Part i: separate large dark wooden loom bar with notched ends. Parts j and k: wooden support sticks around which green and orange string is attached. Green string loops (tied and glued) hold j to loom bar farthest from weaving. Part l: separate grey/white synthetic rope, burnt at ends with single knot near one end. Parts m and n: carved light wooden shuttles with pointed ends, carved out section with pointed stick through centre, two points at other end, 'J.L.' carved near end.
