Silkscreen print design of the sun. The red sun has a circular face with ovoid eyes. There is a u form below the eyes with the nose in between and two long, thin lines angling inward to come to a point above the centre. There is a mouth and a chin. The ears have a sideways split u surrounded by a red u form. There are four large, wide protrusions around the circular face, the top ones of which each have a hand-like shape within while the bottom ones of which each have a split v. There is a single radiating line in between each ear and the large, wide protrusions. There are two pairs of radiating lines in between the two top large, wide protrusions while there is one pair in between the two below. Pencil inscription across the bottom edge reads '84/200 2/7/75 THE SUN TSIMSHIAN TRIBE KITKATLA B.C. Roy H. Vickers'. The print is on a vertically rectangular, light blue paper piece.

Sea OtterNb3.1373

Sea otter design with a single profile in a near ovoid shape, open at the top with the head facing the hind limbs. The head is on the left side facing to the right side. Sea otter is on its back represented by black form lines, ovoids, etc., with some red detail including u forms. A red open mouth and a snub nose formed by an ovoid. Eye is double circle outline with circle tapering to points on each side. Large double ovoid at the shoulder. Forelimbs crosses chest with a four-fingered paw above the chest. Hind limb with a four-toed paw, curves up to face the head. Other details include double ovoids before the paws, a series of negative ovoids and split u's along the backbone, and stripe-like form lines along the belly. Pencil inscription along the bottom edge reads '162/200 Sea Otter Cranmer 80.' The print is on a horizontally rectangular, light brown paper piece.

Red-orange circle at centre bottom surmounted by a frontal face with circular eyes and tapering lines. Bird-like heads at the top meet at the centre with a red-orange wide teeth row. Other primary lines in black. Large black ovoid in ovoid below bird head and to the sides with split u's and wing-like shapes below. At the outside, there is a profile image with a black circle within circle eye-shape and two split u's to the top. Three digit paw ? to the bottom. U forms and split s-shapes in red line detail below. Above the house, there is black line drawing. The line across the top is split by deep v's. Below, there is an ovoid in ovoid on the right side with a u-shape to the left. Evenly spaced diagonal lines slope inward from the ovoid and the u-shape toward the roof of the house. The Life of Meares IslandNb11.310

A main design consisting of a black thunderbird with a serpent on the wing at the right and a wolf on the wing at the left surmount a green mountain-like island. Whale below island. Thunder bird has profile head, facing side on the right. Two ears side by side are joined at downward curving tips. Short curved open beak. Wings outspread horizontally at sides have gradually diminishing feather pattern towards island. Island is outlined in black with one black line diverging into two. Profile serpent has a curvilinear body, a head facing to the side on the left, two ears side by side curving downwards, two lines of short dashes along the upper line of the open mouth, and a curled nose. Wolf has a head turning to face the side on the left, two lines of short dashes along the upper lip, bared teeth, four s curves and a four pointed star on the body, paws on the fore and hind legs curving backwards, and an inverted u shaped tail. Whale has a triangular blowhole, a small dorsal fin, an open mouth, a pectoral fin at the left of the eye ovoid has a cross and a grouping of three horizontal lines, and tail flukes having eyes within a series of three ovoids. Pencil inscription along the bottom edge reads '408/500 The life of Meares Island J.David '85'. The print is on a horizontally rectangular, white paper piece.

In the house, the profile ovoid heads meet at the centre with a large black ovoid in ovoid to the sides followed by a red split u in a black u form. Wing elements below. To the outside, at either side, there is a red split u in a black u form followed by two elongated u forms with split u's. To the inside, at either side, there is a black circle in circle with a red split u to the top and below in two wing segments. Towards the centre, there are black three-clawed limbs, orange s-shapes, and diamond shape leaf-like elements. At the centre, below the head, there are wedge shapes with four notches. At the bottom centre, there is a red ovoid with u forms with split u's on the top right, and the bottom left has vertically striped diamonds at the top left and the bottom right. Thin black line parallels the roof just above it with vertical, s-curved lines running vertically up from it and having three evenly spaced on each gable, with the central three lines intertwined. Door at the centre bottom has six vertical red lines and a cross shaped star in a domed section above. Matching star at top of the gable. Large profile face in black line above and to sides of door. Has a short snout; open mouth, even teeth rows with triangular canines, and a red segmented tongue between. Ovoid eyes and a red split u on the cheek. Other major elements include a large ovoid to the sides at the top with black concentric ovoids at the centre. Series of red u forms, split u's, and s-shape below in a rectangular black section. Black and red u forms and split u sections across the bottom. Black ovoid below the head at either side. Series of evenly spaced ovoids along the gables. Steeply notched red horizontal line across the top of the print above the house. Raven Travelling with SculpinNb22.80

Symmetrical design is predominantly black with red detail. All images are contained in a basically rounded rectangle. There is a head at the top centre protruding from the bottom, a horizontally elongated frontal face with a protruding tongue and a salmon-trout head eye motif, and a small frontal face with three split u's above up to the ovoid with a nearly solid inner ovoid. Frontal face at the top has a series of six split u's along the top of the head with a triangle shape below the chin. Two profile faces are on either side with a red curled s-shape above the teeth row and having the tail come to a point and the forelimb go to the centre. Pencil inscription across the bottom reads '207/225 Raven travelling with Sculpin Dempsey Bob '79'. There are three embossed marks along the bottom edge, from the right: 'The Gallery Collection', a circle with a vertical line, and a discontinuous horizontal line. The print is on a vertically rectangular, near white paper piece with a deckle edge top and bottom.

Head has an ovoid pupil in extended pointed eyelid lines; short open beak with red split u next to eye area; back part of lower mandible rests on body ovoid, which has an interior line with two equidistant pointed extensions; at side on right bent leg with claw encompassing partial human face; wing at side on left has interior ovoid and u forms; leg partially obscured by wing; two tail feathers with interior u forms.
