Purple damask jacket. The jacket has a standing collar, front pockets, side slits and a centre opening with brass frog closures. The damask silk is woven with a peony motif. The jacket is lined with yellow-white lamb’s wool.

Lengthwise, the strands are composed of two-strand rope and are interwoven through cross-wise strands of four-strand rope. Two rope loops are attached, one end to each corner of the net. Red and black llamas alternate, each with chevron stripes of yellow, black, blue, and red. The patterning is in a supplementary weft weave. One finished edge is partially intact and has three heading cords in place. The other fabric edges are oxidized or cut.
