Metal necklace consisting of thirty-eight gold coloured Mexican coins of various dates (1956-1969) fastened together by metal links that support a gold coloured, circular disc pendant with an overlaid floral embossed wreath that is attached to a large coin. Hanging from the disc are three metal flowers in a cone shape and three large coins. On the top of the coins is an eagle with a snake in its mouth, sitting on a branch and reads ‘Estados Unidos Mexicanos’. On the back, the coins have a woman’s profile and read ‘Cinco Centavos’.

Metal bracelet consisting of nine gold coloured Mexican coins of various dates (1955-1969) fastened together by metal links with a hook clasp at the end. On the top of the coin is an eagle with a snake in its mouth, sitting on a branch and the words ‘Estados Unidos Mexicanos’. On the back is a woman in profile and ‘Cinco Centavos’.

Sword (a) with leather scabbard (b). The sword handle is covered in red and black leather with a band of red leather and plant fibre weaving in a diagonal linear design, and a metal finial. The sword blade has three indented lines running lengthwise from near the blade base to nearly halfway down the blade. The scabbard is composed of several bands of alternating red and black leather, a section of mottled red and brown leather stamped with several bands of geometric pattern, another section of alternating red and black bands, and a black laterh tip stamped with linear designs.

The cloth is rectangular and natural coloured with patterns painted in brown and black. The patterns are arranged in horizontal bands. The bands on the top and bottom edges are repeated brown lines. The next band is made of black squares with two natural coloured flowers in the centre and el borate diamond and triangle borders. The next band has a black background with repeated natural coloured, three-prong figures. Another band has a black background with a natural coloured chain pattern. The final band has natural coloured parallelograms with a central flower and scored edges on a brown background. The cloth is made of two pieces joined together.

The cloth is rectangular and natural in colour with designs painted in black and dark red. There is a narrow border along the edges decorated only with bunches of four red lines. Inside the borders are four horizontal panels. The first panel is wide and has large natural coloured flowers repeated on a red background. The next panel is thin and has natural coloured diamonds on a black background. The next panel is thin and has natural coloured, elongated X’s separated by double lines on a black background. The final panel is wide and has red sunburst designs bordered by triple rows of triangles on a natural coloured background. The cloth is made of two narrow pieces of cloth joined together in the centre.

The cloth is rectangular with designs covering the entire surface in dark red-brown, brown and black on a natural off-white background. There are ten rectangular panels with a diamond-shaped design in the natural colour and brown. The design differs from panel to panel in which aspects of the design are highlighted with black and dark brown dye. The backside also has the same diamond-shaped design painted in a lighter brown on the natural coloured cloth.

The cloth is rectangular with four bands decorated with a black linear design. The top band has a yellow-white background and outlined black triangles repeated. The second band has a yellow-white background and black vertical lines repeated irregularly. The third and fourth bands are alike and much thicker than the previous two. The bands are divided by black lines into thin vertical spaces, diagonal lines and short horizontal spaces. The spaces are coloured red-brown and black.

Inside the borders are many square and rectangular panels repeated in a regular pattern. One panel is black horizontal lines with marks in the centre. The next panel is two black triangles, one upside down and one right-side up, joined at the point. The next panel is a natural coloured chain on a black background. Another panel is a natural coloured figure with eight legs on a red background. The last panel is five red circles bordered by red triangles. The cloth is painted on one side but the paint has bled through to the backside.

Chest (a) consisting of a square base with feet that has bevelled gold edges at the top; contains a taller drawer at the bottom (b) as well as a shallower drawer at the top (c). A mirror stand (d) with an arched top, curled finials, two curved arms that angle forward (to hold mirror Ed5.2891), and two circular metal inserts depicting birds fits into two square holes in the top of the base. A gold stylized floral and vine design covers the black lacquered chest and stand. The top and sides of the chest each have three leaf medallions with calligraphy in the centre. The drawers have metal ring pulls, each with a leaf design, and are black lacquer with gold trim on the top edges.

A headdress with a high vertical rounded front and flat top sloping downward to the back which is a shorter vertical band. Frame is of wire covered with intricately interlaced bands of black silk braid and fabric. Attached to the headdress with wires, there are highly perforated and layered gold-coloured brass roundels in the shape of flowers and leaves, all inlaid with various shades of bright blue kingfisher feathers outlined with metal. On and around them, there are many ornaments mounted on wires which include the following: bats made of pearls, flowers made of pink glass, gemstones inset in metal, green stone butterflies, and a large roundel of pink quartz. From the front of the headdress, there are suspended strands of pearls with coloured stone butterflies in the middle and stone drops at the end.
