The handle is curved and tapered with several figures carved into it with a hole pierced through the tip. the bowl is attached to the handle via a peg at the base of the handle and the top of the bowl.

All sides have a distributive design. carved in shallow relief. The rim has operculum shells inlaid evenly all around.

The tapering handle is carved with two slightly abstracted figures with a whitish pigment (?) in the recessed grooves of the carving.
