The tip and base of the point are broken. It is difficult to determine the type of base because of how it is broke. One side is side-notched and the appears to be stemmed (?). The point was wrapped in paper on which was noted: "Arrowhead Whidbey Island, Washington Petrified Wood Found below sand dune on Jacob Ebey Donation Claim bluff near Coupeville by Ronald Taylor 1945 W1-1" KJG February 2000

Leaf-shaped stone point, Olcott-style (yellow patina). Found by Theodore Parsons in 1964. Envelope in which artifact was wrapped, notes date of 4-26-[19]66. It is not clear whether this is the date that the artifact was found or the date that the artifact was brought into the museum. Note that the information on the envelope is written in Dr. Robert Greengo's hand. LSP, 8/8/2000. Accession information indicates the point was found in 1964.
