One mammal bone. Found in a paper bag labelled "deer" in pencil. Bag also contained elements from sites SJ2, SJ25, SJ185, SJ186. The bone had "5d" written on it in grease pencil. The artifacts in this level bag are assumed to be associated with the Burroughs 1949 excavation, based on the site and subsite (letter) designations on the bag, as well as the date of the excavation. The bag contains fragments of animal bone. At least two of the fragments are jaw bones. One of the jaws is a lower right mandable with some of the teeth still in their sockets.
