Bone fragment has been shaped into an uneven point, and possibly polished. The exterior surface shows at least six cut marks. The surface of the bone has been painted with white-out and the number "45KI53 4N27W 276" has been written on it in black ink. Excavated by J.N. Leavitt and Kipper on 6/28/80 and identified as a "toggle harpoon?-worked bone." M. Herkelrath 11/13/03
Fragment is roughly rectangularly-shaped, with flat edges that look like they might have been shaped. Both ends of the fragment are broken off. The bone has been painted with a clear substance with "45KI53 2N28W 263" written on it in black ink. Excavated by Cooper on 7/12/80 and identified as "pos. worn bone" on 8/7/80. M. Herkelrath 10/22/03
The smaller fragment has broken off of the larger fragment since excavation. The large fragment is point-shaped with sharp edges, although it is hard to tell if the edges were deliberately sharpened. The larger fragment has white-out painted on its surface with "45KI53 1N28W 239" written on it in black ink. Dimensions are given for the larger fragment. Both fragments were excavated by Montgomery and Barker on 6/29/80 and identified as a "wide bone point(?)" on 8/7/80. M. Herkelrath 11/12/03
Bone fragments are cylindrically-shaped, and both are broken at both ends. One has a reddish tinge on the surface, particularly evident on the inside. The surfaces of the bones have a clear substance painted on them, with the numbers "45KI53 8N20W 56" written on them in black ink. Dimensions are given for the larger of the two fragments. Excavated by Jim Chatters on 6/14/80 and identified as "2 pieces worked bone." M. Herkelrath 11/12/03
Bone fragment is roughly cylindrically-shaped, with a wide base, and has been cleanly broken on both ends. The surface of the bone has been painted with a clear substance, and the number "45KI53 3N27W 30" written on it in black ink. Excavated by J. N. Leavitt on 6/11/80 and identified as "worked bone" on 6/12/80. M. Herkelrath 11/12/03
Ends of fragment appear to have been cut since the ends are flat and at right angles to the length of the bone.
Cutmark 2mm from one end of worked bone tool. Both ends have experienced previous breakage.
Modifed bone tool. Probably splintered into a point.
Appears to be a bird bone, as it is hollow. One end has been formed into a point, but is cut diagonally along length. C. Svensson 6/5/02
