Round heavy brass bowl on flat base with rounded sides; shiny surface.
Brass bowl (a) with lid (b); round on a flat base with single ring foot. Sides rounded near base then straight to mouth. Lid is convex with sharply downturned rim and raised ring 2.7 cm. In diameter at centre top. Fairly shiny surface with some dark areas.
Bowl (a) with lid (b) made of heavy brass; truncated sphere shape with flat base, contracting slightly to mouth. Lid (b) is convex, downturned at rim with flat raised disc at centre top. Both are shiny inside with a slightly dull patina outside.
Carved dark brown wood shaped like elongated pear in transverse cross section. Wider end hollowed to form a bowl-like depression. Inserted vertically through narrow end is a wheel with a cleft deep cut around its perimeter, .9 cm. from each side. Wheel mounted on brass axle with brass handle projecting 4.3 cm. from one side. Traces of thread in cleft. Hole lined with white glass tube bored through from wheel to inside bowl with similar hole opposite from inside to outside of bowl. Around outside of bowl are carved dragon and cloud shapes.
Square, slightly concave cloisonne enamel plate with bronze rim. Underside is covered in solid, slightly speckled dull finished blue/green enamel, with single ring foot of bronze. Upper surface has design of 3 bunches of flowers (red, yellow, and light red, all mixed with white) one above the other, with green leaves, the lowest being next to an irregular brown, grey, and light purple shape. All are on black background through which are scattered brass zigzag wires.
Box (a) with lid (b) shaped like a rectangular cube with rounded corners. Box is 2/3 of height; lid the remaining 1/3. Inside is enamelled dark green; underside a slightly lighter green. At centre of underside is brass wire circle with 4 u-shaped wires inside. Edges of box and all exposed wires are brass. Sides of box and lid have red, light red, and orange flowers on green ground with wires in irregular scroll patterns. Along lower edge of box sides are 2 rows of alternating blue half circles. On top of lid, clustered in one corner, is design of morning glories and other flowers with leaves in polychrome on yellow ground.
A small circular five-lobed bronze mirror. Reflecting surface has eighteen Chinese (?) characters around the circumference. Non-reflecting surface has a scene of a pillared Korean building with four towers (?) that have pennants flying behind. At the centre of the non-reflecting side, there is raised handle through which ther is threaded a knotted white cotton cord. Characters read 'Commemoration of Opening of Korean Exposition, October 1, 1929'.
D-adze with a blade has been made from a file. Leading end flared to a slightly curved sharp edge. Bound onto wooden handle with leather thong fastened through a hole in the handle. Handle is well polished wood carved with a bird's head and beak on the back end.
Narrow steel blade. Leading end flares to a slightly curved sharpened edge. Bolted onto a whale bone handle with the shaving-deflecting ridge at the front and an unturned curve at the back.
Small rounded coiled basket (bifurcated stitches); watch-spring base construction. Imbricated design of vertical rows of double triangles, in each row colours alternate between red cherry bark outline with cat-tail grass (?) and dark cherry bark centers and the reverse, and each row starts with the alternate colour.
