The border is composed of bands of dotted blue and green on red with an inner line of orange and an outer line of off-white. The inscription, "juaquenhoailpa 1947," is woven into the sash. One end is fringed, and the other consists of a thick multicoloured cord that has been sewn together to form a design with multicoloured tassels at the ends.
