Plain cover with blue embroidery. End borders have birds, lotus blossom, flowers. Centre medallion shows birds, flowering branches and leaves. Overall pattern of butterflies. Patch sewn left of center. Selvedges top and bottom, and hemmed ends.
Plain white cloth with blue embroidery. Pale blue bias binding at each end. Inner dark grey braid. Centre motif shows three landforms, two at opposite bottom corners with stylized crosses and flowers, and one near left bottom corner with heavy four petal design. Cat on landform at bottom right corner, bird and thistle flower at opposite. Flowering fruit tree branches fill out rest of motif, with parrot perched near center.
Rectangular cover with pale blue border on each end with an inner row of braiding. The central motif consists of three triangular shaped rocks. The rock on left has a cat standing over an insect. Growing from inside the centre rock is a tree with a peony in bloom. The rock on the right has a bird on top. Growing between rocks is a branch bearing several varieties of fruit, flowers and leaves.
Loom (part a) with partially finished belt, 10.7 cm wide, predominantly red, white and green. The design consists of three patterned bands with figurative and geometric motifs. Woven section lashed to loom bar and twisted warps loop over loom bar at the other end. Shed roll (part b) in position between two layers of warps. One heddle bar with string loops extends full width and two sets of string heddles are tied on the warps in the three pattern bands. The red weft is wrapped on a stick. Accompanying the loom are two roughly whittled and tapered pegs (parts b and c), a bone pick (d), six cylindrical pieces of wood (parts d,e,f,i,h,j) all of varying size.
Rectangular red bag with a long woven strap and five, large threaded tassels at the bottom. Five pattern stripes are arranged symmetrically with the largest in the centre flanked by narrow stripes with white squares. The central stripe and the outer stripes have geometric and figurative motifs and are edged with blue and green stripes. A four strand edging, twined and sewn, covers the seams and edges.
Loom, consisting of a narrow warp-faced band partially woven and still attached to a pointed ground peg. Two sets of multi-loop needles and two single-loop heddles attached to unworked warps. Nine motifs of worked-in white threads on a red and green background. Motifs include a bird, a reverse curve, a cross, diamonds, and circles. Colours are inverted on the other fabric face. Small blue skein of weft attached.
Plain white cloth with black embroidery. Two rows of twenty-two floral and insect motifs which include butterflies, a bird, peonies, chrysanthemums. Embroidered border with alternating flower and leaf design with geometric bands above and below. Hemmed on all three sides with zig-zag embroidery . Selvedge at top.
Plain cloth with blue embroidery. Design at center is of ship with 6 persons, flying two flags, and a fish at bottom and potted flowers at top. Ship flanked by two medallions, one of rider on horse, the other of symbol and insects. Two smaller medallions beside these, one is either worn or incomplete, the other is of vine and flowers. Smaller decorative motifs near each end. At each corner along the bottom is a dragon, and at each top corner is swasztika symbol and flowers (?) Border on all three sides of phoenix and flowers. Hemmed bottom, raw sides, top selvedge.
Shield composed of an oval piece of skin attached to an oval wooden frame. The frame is attached with strips of bark (?) which is wrapped around the frame, then through the skin every fourth or fifth time. At the top and bottom, woven bark (?) fills the gap between the edge of the frame and the skin. The upper portion of the back has three wooden pieces which cross and then loop onto the frame.
Belt composed of a narrow woven band with white geometric designs and bird figures worked against a background of dark red and green. One end is finished with two braided strands and the opposite end is frayed.
