Loincloth composed of a length of brown fabric with yellow, light brown, dark brown and red ends woven with a geometric pattern. A length of narrow brown fabric with similar borders is sewn across the end of the rectangle with the deeper, decorated border and it extends as long ties in both directions. The main design in the borders is a repetition of double headed serpents in yellow brocade with accents of red and dark yellow. A series of weft-faced stripes in yellows and reds, including a stripe of interlocking hook motifs is symmetrically arranged on either side. The bottom edges of the borders each have a fringe. S-spun single cotton yarns and z-spun, two-plied s camelid (alpaca ?) yarns.
White robe with light brown embroidery. The man’s robe is made of plain weave cotton cloth, with wide strips sewn together to give desired width. The front and back panels are sewn together along shoulder line, leaving an angled opening for the neck. The panels are also sewn at the bottom corners, narrowing the leg opening. The front and back are embroidered in light brown cotton. The design on the front is a complex pattern of needles, palm leaves, cartouches and knots, with large spiral circles on the right shoulder. The design on the back is a pair of spiral circles enclosing a complex rounded motif. The hem facing is red, black and white cotton.
Off-white robe with green embroidery and purple lining. The man’s robe is made of plain weave cotton cloth, with double strips sewn together to give desired width. The front and back panels are sewn together along shoulder line, leaving a right angled opening for the neck. The panels are also sewn at the bottom corners, narrowing the leg opening. The front of the robe is embroidered with two designs in green cotton. The first design is of two downward pointing needles of solid embroidery with a complex cartouche-shaped motif. The second design is a pair of spiral circles enclosing a complex rounded motif. The back of the robe is embroidered with only the pair of spiral circles enclosing a complex rounded motif. The inside lining is bias cut purple and gold striped cloth.
White pants with red cuffs and multicoloured embroidery. The men’s white cotton pants are made from 6.5 cm woven strips seamed together. The front and back are very wide and seamed at sides and across the bottom leaving the corners open and gathered into two cuffs. The cuffs are green and red striped, with the occasional wide yellow stripe. The top edge is turned over to form an easing for a drawstring. The lower front of the legs are embroidered in red, green, blue, yellow, and pink, in a complex interlocking design.
Complete panel of warp faced weaving with a warp fringe at both ends. Horizontal yellow bands of hooks and step triangles alternate against a red and black background. The panel is folded and partly seamed along one long side. The other long side has fragments of a similar cloth sewn to it. Warps and wefts are alpaca. Weave structure is a complementary warp weave with 3-span floats in alternate alignment.
Cut piece of tapestry band. The primary motif is red, s-shaped, double-headed serpent surrounded by a serrated shape of off-white with a yellow border. Background is dark yellow. Motif is flanked by stripes in red and shades of yellow. Parts of both finished edges are present. The technique is slit tapestry with outlining. Some weft yarns are plied and others are single ply.
Piece of dark brown weave cotton with four brocaded figures in dark and light yellow, brown and light red. The figure has a plume arching out of the top of its head in one direction and a plume in place of a body, arching in the other direction. Each plume ends in three stacked triangles. The face has a single eye and two hook-like ears. One weft selvedge present; other edges cut or torn.
Red and yellow brocaded fish alternate on natural grey-brown plain weave cotton. Rows of fish point in alternate directions. Two weft selvedges are present. Warp edges are cut. Fragment is cut from a narrow loom width. Z-spun, two plied s yarns.
Woven beadwork headband; using cotton thread, white, dark blue, light blue, yellow and red plastic beads. Double arrow design with diamond and triangular shapes. Beaded rosette with border at front centre, sewn on with thread. Rosette; complete circles of blue and white beads sewn on leather circle by spot-stitch, triangle and circle design.

Hands are made of paper. Face is made of white silk. Wearing a large hat shaped like a rounded triangle with an apex at the top, and a scalloped rim of dark yellow linen, a loose light blue silk jacket, loose grey-beige cotton trousers, and yellow sandals. Two pieces of white flannel edged with light green silk thread with a loop of the same thread at the top are sewn to the paper backing.
