Long thin band with woven pattern. The pattern repeats a geometric motif within rectangular blocks in red on white ground. The warp is circular, left unwoven for one third of length. At either end of unwoven section there is a pair of tassels of white cotton thread inserted through warp.

A backstrap loom with a partially finished 'patterned band' of red, yellow, green, and white cotton thread, and green synthetic thread tassels. Shed stick is a piece of bamboo 11.5 cm. long with a 1.5 cm. diameter. Bar heddle is formed by loops of white thread knotted together with a piece of grass. Warp is continuous (circular).

Round hat with a flat brim that curves down at the edge. The crown is raised and flat on top. Formed of layers of bamboo leaves, enclosed inside and outside by rattan in open hexagonal weave. Top of crown covered in light coloured rattan in a woven pattern. The brim is finished with a double rim of split bamboo, lashed on with woven rattan. Inside the crown is a square of pink paper. The hat is varnished on the outside.

A flat hat of straw in a circular twill weave of natural colour and varnished on the upper surface. Hat is disc shaped with a round hole in the centre, and finished with a bias band of blue cloth with diametrically opposed cloth loops. Outer circumference is finished with a double rim of split bamboo, affixed to the under surface of the hat with rattan. Two pieces of heavy blue cotton cloth, 15.5 cm. wide, machine stitched into fine pleats and joined with two red and two green strips of fine stitching.

Hat is disc shaped with a round hole in the centre and finished with a band of black cloth with two diametrically opposed black cloth loops. Outer circumference is finished with a double rim of split bamboo affixed to the upper side of the hat with split rattan. Two pieces of thin, black cotton, 18 cm. wide, finely pleated and joined together with loose stitches of red and green thread.

Three-dimensional carved wooden hand puppet with sticks for manipulation of the arms. Wooden upper body (part a) extends to a handle beneath puppets lower garments; sticks joined to hands with blue twine. Painted pink face (part b) with large eyes with red irises; red closed lips; large ears; a thinly scalloped black beard painted and extending from the ears across the lower face line and chin. Also has a small painted black moustache. Head wrapped in a spiraling wound turban of dark blue, light blue, and white; short black hair beneath it. Figure wears a square black tunic with long sleeves over a long skirt, beige with black stripes and rust stained lower portion. Both garments of polyester. Jointed arms painted pink with red bulbs at wrists; paint on hands worn. Pointed (part c) controlling rod is tapered at the end.

Indonesian hand puppet; carved upper body (part a), extending to a wooden handle. Forward extending head (part b) with white face and upturned red eyes; mouth cast in a dissatisfied expression. Black highlighted facial features, hints of chin , beard, and sideburns. Head wrapped with a spiraling wound turban -songkok- of alternating dark and light green with gold tassels. Jointed arm on the right painted pink and is narrow, thicker arm to the left is unpainted. Both arms attached to supporting sticks with string. Figure wears a soiled light blue blouse overlying a red and white checkered body covering. Waist and legs wrapped in a skirt printed with a pattern of black and cream. Both blouse and skirt are made of synthetic material. Paint slightly chipped and peeling on turban. Pointed single controlling rod (part c).

Three-dimensional male humanoid puppet: large head (part b) fits into body with skirt (part a) from which the figure's right arm (part d) has become detached, and a control rod (part c) with six notches on the handle and a long shaft that passes through the body and fits into the neck of the figure's head. The body has jointed arms, each with a long controlling rod attached. Red face, bulging eyes with blue irises, black moustache, short beard, large blunt nose, upper teeth visible with two very small fangs. Black cap with blue and gold looped ornament; red and blue sekar kluwih headdress with gold sumping, blue and red Garuda Mungkur with short gold tongue, several gold and red badong. Black curly hair decorated with white, showing below headdress. Gold neck. Head detachable and joined to body by controlling rod which extends through body, marked with finger grips. Gold slender torso. Gold arms; red and blue necklace; arm on left articulated at elbow by string but unattached at shoulder and has red, white, and blue upper arm and wrist ornaments. Arm on right articulated at shoulder and elbow by string and has blue and red upper arm and wrist ornaments. Hands with fingers straight and at right angles to arms. Yellow and brown batik skirt.

The body has jointed arms, each with a long controlling rod attached. Red face, bulging eyes with green irises, black moustache, beard and sideburns, blunt protruding nose, white and gold upper teeth slightly protruding. Green and white striped turban, gold sumping, white Garuda Mungkur with short red tongue. Black curly hair decorated with gold appearing from back of headdress. Gold neck. Head detachable and joined to body by controlling rod. Pink rounded torso; swelling breasts; blue circles around breasts and navel. Breasts covered by black velvet yoke with appliqued seed beads; velvet worn and some beads missing. Yoke attached to chest and back with nails. Pink arms articulated at shoulder and elbow by string. Green and blue upper arm, and blue and red wrist ornaments. Hands at right angles to arms with fingers curled; attached by string to controlling wands. Blue, green, orange and yellow plaid skirt.
