Rectangular mat with checkerboard weave and designs. The centre panel has rows of interlocking diamond motifs in yellow on a background of black, purple and green abstract motifs. There is a border of purple and green bands on the long sides of the mat. The edges are finished by doubling the fibres.

Woven, palm leaf hat in a conical shape with a leather brim, top and detailing. The brim is painted with a vertical stripe design in red, yellow and brown. The top is painted red and black with multiply thin brown leather strips hanging down from the tip. The body of the hat is detailed with dyed palm strips in purple, blue and black along with leather diamonds painted black and red with white outline. There is a thin brown leather strap that hangs down from the inner rim.

Woven palm fibre hat consisting of fibres woven through and laid flat around outside of hat; long stripes of palm sit on a horizontal diagonal and are secured by palm fibre strips laced across. Twine woven, with two solid ring bases around edge. The weaving comes to a point at the top which is wrapped with stripes of palm to for a cylindrical-like shape.

Woven, palm leaf basket (part a) and base (part b) with an orange rim around each. The tall basket has a diagonal weave that tapers to a plated, square shaped bottom. Running through the middle of the body is a thin stripe of orange and brown. The base has a circular shaped top that tapers into a plated square bottom. The base is wider then the bottom of the basket.

Large cream robe with embroidery. The cotton is woven into strips which are then sewn together to make a wide robe. The neck and shoulder area is hand embroidered with local silk in a traditional Hausa pattern with hand spun cotton and locally produced silk. The pattern features circles and two downward pointing needles.
