Women's body-wrap (phi) composed of two panels stitched together on the long edge. The panels have matching patterns, but are attached so that they are mirrored. The textile has a dark red ground weave with two horizontal black bands, outlined in off-white, on either side of the centre seam. The top and bottom edges are finished with a single black band. Between the black bands are groups of three grey horizontal lines or two grey with one black centre line. The wrap is embroidered on both sides with a column of repeating horizontal green and beige lines that are stitched vertically. The columns are flanked by vertical lines in beige and dark blue-grey. Three short vertical lines in green and beige with tufts at ends are embroidered through the wide black bands on the centre seam, with a set on either side of centre, and either side of the seam. The short edge has fringe.

Wrap Dress3587/1

Woman's wrap-around dress (kira). The dress is composed of three woven panels stitched together on the long edge to create a rectangular fabric. Each panel is finished in chain stitch in either red and dark blue or light grey-green and light brown. The centre of the textile has a beige background with evenly spaced bands of stripes. On each side there is a section of alternating solid orange and navy blue bands on an off-white ground weave. Both sides have sections of navy blue, grey, and bright orange bands in various sizes on a dark orange ground weave. One side is heavily embroidered with alternating lines of dark blue or dark blue-green and red designs including meander, stepped pyramids, diamonds, and other motifs. Fringe on the short ends.

Body wrap or body cloth. Composed of three panels stitched together on the long edge. The seams have thin black bands on either side, which come together to create two distinctive black bands. The two outer panels have vertical bands of red and black lines in various thicknesses close to the outer edge. There is horizontal embroidery of three dashed lines of red and some pink in both the upper and lower portion of the textile, creating a frame with the vertical panels of the central embroidery of repeating raised lines in the same tone as the background. The short edges have folded hems.

Woman's wrap-around dress (kira). The dress is composed of three woven panels stitched together on the long edge to create a rectangular textile. Each panel is finished with three split stitches in blue and white or pink and green. Alternate yellow warp bands with plain weave brown-red ground. Small, brightly coloured designs are woven throughout the brown-red ground in pink, red, dark green, purple, white, leaving a larger spacing of red ground down the centre. Both long edges have solid green-brown bands which have two rows of one large brown-red band flanked by two thin brown-red bands through it. Fringe along short edge.

Striped, rectangular, woven wool poncho with a neck slit in the centre. Constructed of two rectangular panels sewn together in the middle. Weave texture is tight and un-patterned, with decoration consisting of a series of horizontal lines of varying widths in dark red, dark blue, black, orange, light beige, dark brown, yellow-brown, and light brown. The outer edge is a separately woven strip with red, orange, and light brown stripes, stitched on with light beige and red string. The edge has a short, uneven fringe made of red, orange, brown, and light beige fibres. Corners are rounded by folding back.
