Dragon, bird, fish, crayfish, tree peony and wave motifs on front and back in blue, turquoise, green, pink and gold on ecru ground. The sleeve band has a butterfly motif in silver, pink and black on ecru ground. The sleeve cuff interior is lined with turquoise silk, embroidered with flower designs. There are green glass eyes, tin reflectors, knotted buttons and fur on the front and back. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.

White jacket with rounded neck, wide sleeves and centre opening with brass frog closures. There are slits in the sides and back. On the front and back are four toed dragon, cloud and tree peony motifs in gold, pink and black on a white ground. The borders around the sleeves and bottom hem have ju-i head scrolls with bat and cash motifs in gold on a blue ground. There are green glass eyes and tin reflectors on the front, back and sleeves. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.

Red jacket with a rounded neck, wide sleeves and centre opening with brass frog closures. There are slits in the sides and back. On the front, back and sleeves are dragon, cloud, sun and peony motifs in silver, pink, yellow, blue and green. The border along the sleeves and bottom hem has ju-i head scrolls with bat, cash and shou motifs in silver and pink on a blue ground. There are tin reflectors and green glass eyes on the front, back and sleeves. The inside lining is yellow linen.

A small rectangular wood box (part a) with a beadwork lid (part b). The top of the box (part a) has an elaborate-shaped edge. The box (part a) is covered with woven rattan. The woven lid is covered with fabric which is beaded with an abstract design in yellow-green on a dark blue background. The lid is edged with faded red fabric.

White robe with wide extended sleeves, side slits and side opening with ties and metal snap fasteners. On the front and back is a large roundel with fish, pearl and prunus motifs in green, blue and yellow on white ground. The collar, sleeve, side and hem borders have a green floral motif surrounded by a blue scalloped circle. The belt carriers have a chrysanthemum motif in blue and white on a red ground stiffened with paper, wood and adhesive. The inside lining is white cotton.

Blue damask robe with wide sleeves, side slits and side opening. The damask is woven containing a floral and diamond motif. The side opening has a short tie and brass frog closure. The collar border has woven bat, peony and endless knot motifs in white, red and yellow on a back ground, edged with ecru fabric and gold braid. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.

Yellow robe with black and gray embroidery. The robe has slender sleeves, side slits and a side opening with frog closures. The border around the neck, cuffs, sides and bottom hem has a peony motif and longevity symbols in black, gray and gold. The collar and cuffs are finished with a black band. The inside lining is unbleached cotton.

A two-dimensional humanoid figure puppet with a one-piece wood body carved in low relief. Unpainted wood handle extends below the foot on the left. Articulate leather arms attached at the shoulder with knotted string and are jointed at the shoulders and the elbows. Wood sticks are attached to the palms to manipulate the arms. Profile body and face are looking to the right. The pink face has a grey beard and moustache. Grey hair. The eyes are large and open. The upper teeth are visible. Wearing a green tunic and trousers with a band of gold paint at the neck and the waist. The pink feet are wearing black shoes with red ground in between.
