Two (parts a-b) metalwork pieces that have a long convexly curved fingernail-shape with the bottom ends folding over each other to make a circular enclosure. One piece (part a) has a design consisting of blue and turquoise enamelled flowers with leaves around the fingernail-shaped part and a circle around the circular enclosure part. The other piece (part b) has a design consisting of blue, yellow, and turquoise enamelled books around the fingernail-shaped part and a flower around the circular enclosure part.

U-shaped pitchfork with two pointed tines, each square in cross-section. No handle.

Metal pin with a small jointed-bodied fish attached by a thin metal chain made of torus-shaped links to a pin with a conical knob on one end. The knob has a faint, floral design.

Shaft has incised geometric line designs at proximal end. Arrow is plain with barbed point.

Blue robe with rounded neck, slender sleeves, hoofed cuffs and side opening with frog closures. There are side slits in the sides, back and front. On the front and back are five-toed dragons and bat motifs and various Buddhist and Taoist symbols in white, red, yellow and green on blue ground. There is also a ‘walking dragon’ on the inside flap. The collar band has dragon, bat and cloud motifs in gold, red and blue on a black ground. The sleeves are gold and brown striped with dragon, bat, wave and cloud motifs on the cuffs. Some details are woven in ‘vicious violet’ Ko-ssu throughout the garment. The inside lining is light blue silk.

Curved lid is covered with leather (dark brown) secured by hand wrought iron nails. Chest is painted red with large circular floral motif in centre front. Vertical line of characters on green band on either side. Above the floral motif is Arabic numeral "9", which also appears in upper right hand corner. Above the central numeral is printed "Made in" (first line) and "Kum Lon Chang Co. Chong Yuen Fong Street, Canton" (second line). Pair of iron rings on either side of central numeral "9". Two iron handles mounted vertically. Iron rings and handles on back of chest also. Leather and wrought iron braces on corners. A wrought iron handle is mounted horizontally on each end of chest.

Above center floral motif is Arabic numeral "6", (which also appears at upper right hand corner) and above this is printed "Made in" (first line) "and" Kum Lon Chang Co. Chong Yuen Fong Street, Canton". Iron handles mounted vertically and iron rings on either side of numeral "6". The same handles and rings appear on back of chest, under three hinges on lid. Iron handles on each side. Wrought iron braces on corners.

Single skin or half drum (shagu or shade), bell shaped. Skin stretched over hole at centre top (approx. 3 cm), and the whole wooden form. Held in place by double row of hand wrought nails and iron rim. Characters, orange, green, and white, on skin. Black characters on base.

Double skin drum; wooden cylinder (hollow) with skin head stretched over top and bottom; nailed in place with hand wrought nails. Wooden portion: yellow characters (3) on green ground. Skin heads; one plain, one has six worn characters, red on yellow ground, green nails. Screw eyes inserted, one on either side in wooden portion.
