On the front are fu dog, butterfly, bird, peony and triple cash motifs in silver, red, purple, blue and green on a mauve ground. The collar band has peony motifs in silver, yellow and blue on a mauve ground. The sleeves have multicoloured bird, narcissus and peony motifs. On the back are butterfly, bat, fish, lotus and peony motifs. On each of the large back panels there are five tassels in yellow, turquoise, pink, green and orange. On the front are seven tassels in turquoise, green, orange, yellow, light and dark pink. There are green glass eyes, tin reflectors, bells and white fur on the front and back. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen. (The couching has all fallen apart along the sides.)

Two pieces of black rectangular armour with different cording (part a-b). The top end of the armour has a high ridge with two blue cord loops. The armour is made of six black lacquer ware pieces strung together with blue and multicoloured (beige, brown, green and black) cord. The bottom of the armour has a yellow-pink cord border. The back is lined with a piece of blue fabric.

Armour has two rectangular panels joined at the top by a blue band with long ties. The panels have metal wire within the bottom seam, causing the lower corners to turn upwards. The panels have blue fabric with a brown pattern. The upper portion has a beige band across the front, with a perpendicular band and keyhole opening. The lower portion has five rows of narrow black metal bars overlaying the fabric. The back is lined with coarse blue fabric.

White stingray skin breastplate with decorative feathers hanging from bottom, over woven jute suit (in five parts). Neck protector has rows of diamond design pattern in black on dark brown ground.

Full suit of armour, including leggings, skirt, tunic and helmet. Bands of lacquer threaded together to form a flexible unit. Parts are padded and embroidered and lined with floral silk brocade. Gold-coloured plates with purple silk cord.

There are green glass eyes, tin reflectors and white fur on the front and back. There are also circular and hexagonal mirrors. The inside lining is white cotton.

The back has dragon-fish, peony and lotus motifs in gold, pink, purple, green, red, white, orange and yellow. The front panel is stiffened with paste adhesive. The inside lining is natural coloured linen.
