Bone blanket pin in the shape of an animal head with an open mouth. Pin is light brown with darker brown coloring inside of carved lines. Carved lines on the bottom jaw define a tongue inside the mouth. Three carved concentric ovals define the shape of an eye on both sides of the head. Protruding from the top of the head are two 0.3 cm high ear-like knobs. A 0.9 cm in diameter hole runs through the head diagonally from the back of the head to the bottom of the lower jaw, this hole appears to be the hollow of the bone that the pin was carved from.
